Submissions for WiSC’s annual writing competition are now open! To participate, students will choose a question relating to the theme of science and answer that question to the best of their abilities. Submissions should a maximum of 1 page. The best-written submission will win a prize! Submissions run up until April 1st.

Prompts:

  1. What does science mean to you?
  2. What is your favourite sub-field in science (ie, physics, cell biology, etc) and why?
  3. Imagine you are a molecule (could de a DNA molecule, water molecule, anything really!)
  4. Imagine all scientic inventions disappeared one day. What do you imagine the world would look like?
